About Turin


Turin is an Italian town of 892,649 inhabitants, the capital of the metropolitan city and the Piedmont region. The urban area of Turin, about 1.7 million people, includes only those municipalities adjacent to the city, while the metropolitan area has almost 2 million inhabitants spread over an area of ​​about 2,300 km² .  The metropolitan city has 2,292,617 inhabitants, is the largest in Italy and coincides geographically with the former province of Turin.
